Does Willow and Oak Wellness take insurance?

Yes! We believe everyone should be able to access quality mental healthcare using their insurance if they choose. We are in-network with most major insurance plans, including Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare/Oxford, and Husky.

Do I have to do any paperwork to use my health insurance?

No! When you call to request an appointment, our staff will collect basic insurance information from you, and we take care of the rest, verifying your benefits, submitting claims and helping with any questions along the way.

How does the process work to start counseling?

When you are ready to start counseling with one of our professionals, give us a call! Our staff will collect basic demographic and insurance information, as well as discuss what your specific needs are for mental healthcare. We will then match you with the Willow and Oak Wellness provider that is the best fit for you and/or your family. We will send you an email to sign up for our Client Portal, which will have all the documents necessary to start sessions, as well as where you will access telehealth sessions. You will be able to electronically sign documents, so no need for a printer or other complicated ways to get forms back to us.

How do telehealth sessions work?

Our telehealth platform is integrated right into your Client Portal account and very easy to access. Once you have created your personal Portal account, you will see a button to click to start a scheduled telehealth session. Make sure you give permission for your device to access your microphone and camera!

Does Willow and Oak Wellness provide counseling for kids?

Yes! Several of our professionals work with children of all ages. When you call to request an appointment for your child, you will be matched with the Willow and Oak Wellness professional who is the best fit for your child and family.

How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

We understand that life happens and you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations, or you may be charged a cancellation fee. You will discuss with your provider in your first session the best way to communicate via phone or email.

Do Willow and Oak Wellness providers maintain confidentiality?

Yes! All of our staff maintain maintain your privacy and confidentiality as required by State and Federal law, as well as by professional ethics. See more information in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
